Christmas already?
Halloween was just a few days ago, but the stores are already decked out for Christmas - which is almost two months away! Every year, the unveiling of the Christmas merchandise and festivities seems to start earlier and earlier. This September, I noticed that some stores already had a few shelves of lights and ornaments - maybe next year, the stores will start getting ready for Christmas during spring break!

I found the first Christmas ornament in Nagoya on November 1st, so it is the same in Japan. I heard this year one of my American friends complaining that they should do it, as you wrote, at least later than the Thanksgiving Day.

I'm surprised Christmas is coming so early in Japan, too! Well, at least now Thanksgiving has passed and Christmas decorations are not so out of season. Does Nagoya have any major events for Christmas?
